HOW IT ALL STARTED

Our story begins in June 2013: While visiting English gin distilleries, founding partners Merlin Kofler and Oliver Honegger decided to develop their own gin. Together with their two friends Philip Angst and Oscar Martin, they put this idea into practice over the following two years.

The main focus of development was: We wanted to design a gin 'from Züri for Züri' in order to appreciate the character of our homeland and at the same time celebrate it beyond the city limits. The ever growing popularity proves that we were on the right track.

Currently Turicum Gin is sold through selected distributors and retail outlets in Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Gibraltar and Hong Kong. Sales in other countries are currently being planned.
