Distilled in the heart of Zurich, the Turicum Wood Barreled Gin has been rested for several weeks on a selection of cedar, sandal and oak wood. This gives this London Dry Gin a special depth with notes of vanilla and cocoa, as well as its beautiful amber colour.

THE PRODUCTION
Turicum Gin is produced in the heart of Zurich using a traditional small
batch process.
The London Dry style guarantees that no other additives are used in
addition to the botanicals and water. In addition, the Wood Barreled Gin
contains no sweetener.

The aging is done using four different types of wood. For this we rest the base gin with wooden chips for several weeks. We use "High Mocca" oak wood from France, "Pure Vanilla" oak wood from North America, red sandalwood from the Democratic Republic of the Congo and cedar wood from Spain.
THE TASTE PROFILE
“This gin is simply packaged in its black earthenware bottle, but catapults you to an unlikely variety of different flavors from the very first smell. Cardamom, nutmeg and pepper. Spicy, intense aromas are accompanied by a subtle sweetness reminiscent of dried orange peel, candied fruit and cedarwood.
The taste of London Dry Gin is absolutely perfect on the palate, and a dry tannin-like aroma stands out. However, this is skilfully integrated by sweet notes of caramel, cocoa and dark tobacco. Over time, dry citrus notes develop on the palate, which give the robust aroma a welcome freshness."

The Turicum bottles are made of the material "stoneware", a mineral mix of clay, quartz and feldspar. We recommend disposing of the bottles in accordance with local regulations, so in Switzerland stoneware can be disposed of in all recycling yards and Cargostrams.
