Distilled in the heart of Zurich, the Turicum Wood Barreled Gin was aged for several weeks with a selection of cedar, sandalwood and oak. This gives this London Dry Gin, in addition to its
amber- colored exterior a special depth, paired with notes of vanilla and cocoa.

The Wood Barreled Gin is produced in the heart of Zurich using the so-called small-batch process, i.e. in small series.
The London Dry style guarantees that no other additives are used besides the botanicals and water. In addition, the Wood Barreled Gin does not contain any sweetening products.

The finish is made with four different types of wood. To do this, we store the base gin with wood chips for several weeks. We use "High Mocca" oak from France, "Pure Vanilla" oak from North America, red sandalwood from the Democratic Republic of Congo and cedar wood from Spain.
THE AROMA PROFILE
"This gin comes in a simple black stoneware bottle, but catapults you into an incredible variety of different aromas at first sniff. Cardamom, nutmeg and pepper. Spicy, intense aromas are accompanied by a subtle sweetness that is reminiscent of dried orange peel, candied fruit and cedar wood.
It absolutely lives up to its London Dry Gin designation on the palate, with a dry tannin-like aroma that stands out. However, this is skilfully integrated with sweet notes of caramel, cocoa and dark tobacco. Over time, dry citrus notes develop on the palate, giving this powerful aroma a welcome freshness."

The Turicum bottles are made of the material "stoneware", a mineral material mix of clay, quartz and feldspar. We recommend disposing of the bottles in accordance with local regulations, so stoneware can be disposed of in all recycling centers and cargo streams in Switzerland. Please do not dispose of the stoneware bottles in the old glass.
